What does a consultation cost?

Every Guru sets their own per-minute rate, separately per channel. We do not set that rate and we add nothing on top of it. You see the rate that applies on the profile, and once more before the consultation starts.
Rates run from €0.50 to €12.00 per minute, in steps of €0.10.

How paying works.

  1. Authorise once

    Before your first consultation you authorise a payment method through Stripe. You are not buying anything yet, and you commit to no minimum amount.

  2. Confirm and start

    Before a paid consultation you see the per-minute rate once more and confirm that it may begin straight away. Without that confirmation it does not start.

  3. Watch the meter

    The elapsed time and the cost so far stay on screen the whole way through. Stop at any moment and the meter stops immediately.

  4. Pay afterwards

    After the consultation we charge what it cost and email you a receipt showing the Guru, the channel, the duration and the amount.

Choose a spending limit in your account settings. If you set nothing yourself, the platform's own ceilings apply.

How does the payment mandate work?

Before your first consultation you authorise us, through our payment provider Stripe, to charge what a consultation cost once it has ended. With that authorisation you are not buying anything yet: you commit to no minimum amount, and nothing can be charged for a consultation you did not start yourself.

After every completed consultation we charge the amount for that consultation to the payment method you authorised. Stripe processes the payment; we do not store card details ourselves.

Do I need to buy credit up front?

No. You buy no credits and no balance: you pay afterwards, per consultation, for the time you actually used, to the second.

How long does a consultation last?

That is up to you. When you pay per minute there is no minimum and no fixed duration: you can stop at any moment, and the meter stops immediately.

Can I set a spending limit?

Yes. You set a spending limit in your account settings. During every consultation you also see the elapsed time and the cost so far running continuously, so you are never taken by surprise.

Do I get a confirmation of what I pay?

Yes. After every charge we send a receipt to your email address, showing the Guru, the channel, the duration and the amount. Your account also holds an overview of all your consultations.

What happens if a payment fails?

Then we try again. While an outstanding amount is unpaid we may temporarily block the start of new consultations. If something goes wrong, send us an email: that usually settles it.

Can I withdraw my mandate?

Yes, at any moment, in your account settings. Withdrawing applies to future consultations. Consultations you have already completed are still settled: that service has been delivered.

How does the 14-day right of withdrawal work?

For services you buy online you normally have fourteen days to change your mind and walk away from the purchase.

A consultation works differently, because the service starts immediately. That is why, before a paid consultation starts and before a free intro continues at the paid rate, we show you the per-minute rate and ask you to tick one box: that the consultation may begin straight away, and that you lose your right of withdrawal for the part already delivered. Without that tick the paid consultation does not start, and we keep a record of each confirmation.

Concretely: once a consultation has ended, you can no longer undo it by invoking the right of withdrawal. If you stop halfway, you pay only for the part that was performed. And adding a payment method is not a purchase in itself: there is nothing to withdraw from until you start a consultation.

VAT

Every rate you see on this site includes VAT. Nothing is added on top at the end of a consultation, and the receipt for each consultation states the VAT that was in it.
